Enderby Bowls Club

Members elect committee’s to oversee the functions of the Club, plan its activities and its future expansion and development. They are responsible for ensuring the buildings and facilities are maintained and the bowling green kept in excellent condition and the surrounds neat and colourful.

COMMITTEE MEETINGS  Ladies and Men have separate Spring Meetings before the bowling season starts and also separate A.G.M’s in October.  These meetings bring members up-to-date with any matters which may have arisen over the winter and to outline club plans for the forthcoming season.  The meetings in autumn review the season activities of the two sections.

A Club Annual General Meeting is held in November.  At this meeting the annual report is discussed, Committee member’s selected and a general discussion conducted where members may ask questions and voice any concerns or suggestions on the running of the club.

CLUB REPRESENTATIVES  Working either directly as committee members of various official bowling authorities, or as delegates to their meetings Enderby Bowls Club is able to gather information, discuss bowling matters giving our views and suggestions and making known the concerns and objectives of our bowlers.
